Galaxy S26 Charging Leak Points to Familiar Samsung Trade-Offs
A fresh Galaxy S26 charging leak is making the rounds, and while it confirms some long-rumored upgrades, it also highlights how cautious Samsung is still being with charging speeds.
The leak backs up earlier claims that Samsung will stick with three models in 2026: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. Battery sizes are going up slightly across the board, but charging remains uneven — especially for the base model.
The regular Galaxy S26 is expected to move to a 6.3-inch display and a 4,300mAh battery, up from last year’s 4,000mAh. That sounds promising, but charging is reportedly unchanged at 25W, which feels increasingly slow by flagship standards.

Galaxy S26 Charging Leak Shows Faster Speeds Are Still Paywalled
Things improve once you step up a tier. The Galaxy S26+ is said to feature a 4,900mAh battery paired with 45W wired charging, making it far more practical for users who rely on quick top-ups.
At the top of the lineup, the Galaxy S26 Ultra keeps its 5,000mAh battery but finally pushes charging to 60W. That’s Samsung’s fastest yet, though it still lags behind several Chinese rivals.
The same leak also mentions colors. Violet is expected to be the hero shade for the series, while orange won’t be part of the main palette this time around.
Taken together, the Galaxy S26 charging leak suggests Samsung is sticking to a familiar formula: small gains for everyone, meaningful upgrades only if you’re willing to pay more.
