One UI 9 features could make Galaxy devices work better together. Samsung’s next software update may focus on making daily phone use simpler and smoother.
Google has already added some helpful cross-device features to Android. For example, you can share your phone’s internet with another device without typing a password. You can also move video calls between devices using the same Google account.
Now, Google is working on something new.
According to Android Authority, Google is developing a feature that can sync Do Not Disturb (DND) mode across devices. This was found in Google Play Services version 26.02.31.

One UI 9 Features Could Make Life Easier
With this feature, turning on Do Not Disturb on one device could turn it on everywhere. This includes phones, tablets, Chromebooks, and smartwatches signed in with the same account.
Samsung already allows DND syncing between Galaxy phones and Galaxy Watches. With Android 17 and One UI 9, this feature could also work across Galaxy phones and tablets.
Google is also working on a Universal Clipboard feature. This means you could copy text on one device and paste it on another. No extra steps needed.
If Samsung adds this to One UI 9, using multiple Galaxy devices could feel much easier and faster.
Both features are expected to arrive with Android 17 in the first half of the year. Samsung may bring them to Galaxy devices later through One UI 9.
One UI 9 is expected to launch first on the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy Z Fold 8. Other Galaxy devices may receive the update before the end of the year.
